Joy Rose-Innes was born in Queenstown.  She went on to study Art at Rhodes University.  She then worked as a Commercial Artist doing some painting, sculpturing and teaching.

Between 1976 and 2001 she had numerous exhibitions.  Her artwork could be seen in several Galleries and Private Collections throughout the country as well as overseas.

Joy is currently a full-time artist.
