Lee Templeton is a self taught artist, born in Zimbabwe.

Lee's unique style of painting demanded a new terminology of description named 'simplistic-contemporary'. She creates her artworks on cotton canvases, stretched and block-mounted on local hand-crafted pinewood stretch frames. Her preferred mediums are oil and acrylic.

All her paintings are numbered and recorded and up to no.424 she signed her artworks as Lee Schoeman. By 2009 she began exhibiting her artwork and from no.425, Lee's artworks are signed 'Lee Templeton' (her married name).

Her artworks are suitable for domestic or corporate environment alike, creating a striking focal point of interest and intrigue, yet evoking the necessary balance of colour and sense of tranquility.

Lee's artworks are indeed a unique simplistic-contemporary expression of art.
